A spokesperson said: “As a University, we commit to promoting plant-based and low-carbon meals as well as minimising food waste in order to reduce our environmental impact. We host a coffee cup tax to encourage the use of reusable coffee cups and have installed water refill points across our campuses to support our staff, students and guests avoid single-use plastic water bottles.”
Visitors to the Bournemouth Gateway Building on Lansdowne Campus can treat themselves to the pasta of the day for just £2.95. Alongside, sausage rolls for £2.50, soup of the day for £3.25 and jacket potatoes from £3.80.
In Fusion Building on Talbot Campus, visitors can help yourself to a made in-house ciabatta for just £3.95, or a toastie for £3.95. They also serve soup and bread for £3.25, jacket potatoes from £3.80 or a pizza for £3.25.
