The New Standard (TNS) Catering has put a focus on locality, street food and a coffee offer from ethical British supplier Kickstart, who donate every penny of their profits to support children’s education in Uganda.
The official tender process began in October 2021 when TalkTalk started the search for caterers who could put together a plan to incentivise workers to return to the office after working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rachel Wetherill, health and safety manager at TalkTalk, commented: “As soon as we met the TNS team, we knew they were a good fit; they’re a medium sized, independent company, as opposed to a bigger, more corporate outfit – they presented to our One Voice Group – key stakeholders from every part of the business – who were unanimous in their desire to partner with TNS.
“Feedback so far has been excellent. The restaurant is bustling, food is terrific – new flavours, new dishes, fantastic coffee with an ethical story from Kickstart and a great plant-based offer too. We fell in love with TNS because of their food, but most crucially, because of their values - they just got it, they got us.”
