Abstract
Food redistribution charity FareShare has launched the #StopFoodWaste Cooking Challenge to put people’s lockdown cooking to the test while helping to reduce food waste.

By cooking a meal with leftovers and donating £5 to the food redistribution charity you will help FareShare provide 20 vulnerable people with a meal.

How to get involved:

  1. Cooking with five ingredients, ideally leftovers or ingredients you already have at home.
  2. The next part of the challenge is to donate £5 to FareShare, which can be done here.
  3. Step three is to nominate five friends on social media to do the same.

Earlier this year WRAP announced the UK was making ‘significant steps’ towards reducing its food waste with the total food waste level falling 7% per person between 2015 and 2018.
