Abstract
The Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA) has announced it will be merging their revenue & marketing and exhibition liaison committee.

The merger of the two committees reflects the changing times as FEA plans to develop virtual events which focus on topics including food waste, connectivity and Brexit.

The move was initiated by Malcolm Harling, who is stepping down as the chair of the revenue and marketing committee.Harling will continue to chair the FEA refrigeration product group forum and he remains a member of the FEA Council.

Meanwhile Simon Lohse, managing director of Rational UK, will chair the new combined revenue & marketing and exhibition liaison committee.

John Whitehouse, chair of FEA, said: “Malcolm has certainly served his time – he first joined the marketing committee back in 2001. I’d like to say a personal thank you to him for his sterling work.

"The FEA’s profile has gone from strength to strength in recent years, in no small measure that’s been down to his leadership of, support of, and input into the marketing effort.”
