Two new appointments at caterer Compass UK & Ireland

Abstract
Contract caterer Compass has announced two further appointments to its UK & Ireland executive team.
Oliver Cock has been appointed as managing director of the commercial sector, joining from Compass Group PLC where he was director of group procurement. He also has a background in procurement having worked for organisations such as Diageo and the NHS. He replaces Mike Walden who is leaving the company after 11 years to pursue opportunities outside of Compass. Meanwhile Graeme Tomkins has joined the company as sales director, UK and Ireland. He replaces Andy Harris who moved to the role of managing director for Restaurant Associates earlier this year. He joins the UK & Ireland executive team from ADNH Compass – Compass' joint venture in the Middle East - where he managed the Compass Group sales teams in the UAE, Qatar and Egypt. Ian Sarson, group managing director, Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: "I am thrilled to be able to welcome Oliver and Graeme to Compass Group UK & Ireland. "Both of them will bring extensive knowledge of the international market to the executive team, providing great insight into global innovations and trends and enabling us to deliver our commercial goals, pointing us in the right direction for future growth."
