Autograph secures £9m catering contract

Abstract
The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has awarded a four-year contract to autograph worth £9 million for the provision of a catering solution across its four headquarters' buildings.
Under the agreement, autograph will provide a full range of catering services at the DCSF sites including its main office facility in London. autograph will operate and manage the on-site restaurant at the London office for 2,000 employees, including deli bar and coffee shop, as well as providing hospitality, private VIP dining and vending services. Elsewhere, autograph will provide all-day restaurant and deli bar services for three sites located in Darlington, Sheffield and Runcorn, each with between 450 and 1000 employees. Around 45 members from existing contractors will move to autograph. Bobby McLean at the Department for Children, Schools and Families, said: "During the competitive tender process, autograph demonstrated that they were the strongest candidate to meet our diverse catering needs. We were impressed with their personal approach combined with their wide-range of industry expertise that made them an ideal fit as our catering partner." Paul Daly at autograph added: "Our priority is to provide a catering solution that offers high quality, competitively-priced food to all DCSF employees throughout the day, whilst also delivering a range of hospitality services. We look forward to working closely with the DCSF to develop a strong relationship over the coming years."
