BaxterStorey fortunes head North

4,500 workers across the North of England and Scotland will be enjoying a new lunch time offering at work as BaxterStorey announces contract wins totalling £3.5m across the region.
This latest raft of new business wins include, logistics specialist Gist, Radio Clyde, Deutsche Bank and Quintiles. All contracts have been awarded since the start of 2009. BaxterStorey has made public its intention to strengthen its presence throughout the North of England and Scotland. In the latter part of 2008 BaxterStorey bolstered its regional management team with the appointment of Jeremy Wood as Regional Managing Director and Richard Flynn as Sales Director both covering the North and Scotland. At the same time the company opened a new office in Morley, Yorkshire. Within six months, BaxterStorey has seen its presence in the north and Scotland increase by 15%. Commenting on the business' latest crop of wins, John Bennett, managing director, said: "Our focus on building our capability and strengthening our presence outside of the South of the UK is gaining huge momentum. The North and Scotland are home to many of the UK's best businesses who truly care about providing their teams with the best possible food services whilst at work. We've structured our operation to ensure we deliver on our fantastic food, brilliant service promise across the territory and we're delighted with the response."
