The team took part in various sporting activities over 24 hours such as golf, football, curling, hockey, tennis and Zumba.
Participants included Gavin Squires, Tom Emsley, Greg Newcombe, Graham Macey, Miguel Nunes, Mark Carr, Keren Dean, Martin Dore, Shane O’Grady, Michael Pollitt, Vicki Hislop, Jon White, Richard Gooch, Liza Lucas, Emily Butler as well as suppliers Jon White from Wafflemeister UK, Thomas White & Rebecca Marks from William White Meats and Richard Gooch from Nestle UK.
Squires said: "[It was] a truly heroic performance from the team and I would just like to say how proud I am of every single member of the team who has taken part in such a gruelling challenge and also a special huge thank you to our amazing suppliers who also completed the challenge.”
Jon White, head of sales at Wafflemeister added: “I’m so proud of everybody for putting themselves through their paces for this great cause. A sports day might sound like a dream, but it turned out to be a serious challenge, even more than we expected – particularly when our final activity was an hour of Zumba."
