Bidvest donates insulated clothing to Salvation Army
Abstract
Bidvest Foodservice has donated 60 pieces of specially insulated clothing and 20 pairs of boots to the Salvation Army to help keep people in need warm this winter.

Representatives from a number of Bidvest Foodservice depots including Wakefield, Paddock Wood and Stowmarket personally delivered the clothing to their local Salvation Army and discussed ways in which they can work more closely with the charity in the future.

Norman Wemyss, chief operating officer, Bidvest Foodservice, said: “I am really keen for this initiative to be rolled out across more of our depots and it’s great to know that everything we can donate will be put to really good use.”

Bidvest Foodservice has also planned further donations from depots including Cannock and Gateshead, over the coming weeks.
