20th Mar 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Manchester City Football Club is celebrating a strong start to 2009 by reinforcing its sales team with four new appointments.
The additions to the sales and hospitality team includes a newly created role for Jake Ogden as he joins the Stadium as a hospitality sales agent. Other new positions include Neetika Chuni and Tom Mahon as new business sales executives and Sarah Dymond as hospitality coordinator. The new hospitality sales agent post has been introduced to develop and maintain relationships between the football club and its seasonal corporate customers. Jake's role will see him look after the stadium's corporate guests and meeting and greeting them on match days. Emma Barlow, who has over three years experience working within the hospitality team at the Club, will work alongside Jake as she is appointed new hospitality sales agent. Tom and Neetika joined the Club with sales backgrounds and will concentrate on bringing in new business to the stadium. They will also work on match days to ensure new customers to the stadium have a second to none hospitality experience. Tom, who has a degree in Management and Leisure from the University of Manchester, said: "It's a really exciting time to be getting involved with the club and selling the wide range of facilities it has to offer. I am looking forward to the challenges the role will present." City's head of sales, David Chell said: "Manchester City Football Club prides itself on the quality of its staff and we're very happy to welcome four new members to our team. Each of them has already demonstrated dedication and enthusiasm to make the Club's Hospitality Sales division even more successful in 2009."
