Bookings up by 50% at Hotel and Catering Show

Now in its 54th year, the Hotel & Catering Show represents the UK's largest regional trade show for the hospitality industry. Show Director Anna Wallis explained more: "With eight months to go, we are in an amazingly strong position and have been working extremely hard to ensure that we are ahead of the game during these challenging times." Many of the exhibitors experienced a strong second quarter due to the good weather and high levels of tourist activity along the south coast. Suppliers were contacted after the show by visitors who came to browse in March but picked the phone up in April to buy. Anna added: "March 2010 may seem a long way off for some, but clearly there is a positive feeling that the economy will be better by then and because our exhibition delivered tangible, measurable results to our exhibitors this year, they want to be back again." Confirmed sponsors to date include Nestle Professional, Coastline Produce, Unilever KNORR and the Italian Connection. The Hotel and Catering Show, takes place on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th March 2010 at the Bournemouth International Centre.
