Abstract
Catering by Churchill, the food provision arm of Churchill Services Group, has been renamed Radish as part of a rebrand for the business.

Rebecca Bridgement, managing director of Radish, said the new name is the culmination of the company's two catering brands- Redcliffe and Pride.

Redcliffe Catering (acquired in 2013) concentrates on the education sector at all levels throughout the UK and Pride Catering (acquired in 2015) focuses on the education, assisted living and business sectors in London and the south-east.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Radish to the catering sector. As a major independently-owned catering business in the UK market, the rebrand is the catalyst for a much-improved service delivery model and customer experience," said Bridgemont.

"The rebrand is not just cosmetic, it embodies the journey Churchill’s catering division has been on and the future paths we will take as Radish.”

“Under the banner ‘creating a stir, adding zest and serving smiles’, Radish’s premise is simple; a truly human brand that works from the grass roots up – championing originality and bespoke services for every customer.

“The aim is to be different, not just in food creation, but also in the opportunities provided to Radish’s team members, suppliers and local communities. This ethos underpins Radish’s ‘It’s All Good’ vision, helping it stand out in an ever-changing and fast-paced industry.”

Churchill's catering division just had its most successful financial year ever after increasing annual turnover by almost £8 million, due to large contract wins in the higher-education and assisted-living sectors.

It employs 600 staff across 120 sites and has an overall turnover of £17 million.
