Catering company Wilson Vale expands portfolio with IM Group
Abstract
Wilson Vale has won a catering contract worth £400,000 in annual turnover with IM Group, the Midlands-based automotive and property investment company.

The Ashby-based independent caterers will provide a breakfast, lunch, coffee bar and extensive hospitality services at the new site. Andrew Wilson and Carolyne Vale founded Wilson Vale in 2002 and now employs over 800 people and has a projected annual turnover of £35.5 million for 2019.

Andrew Wilson, co-founder of Wilson Vale, said: “IM Group’s on-site staff restaurant, ‘The Bridge’ is a very special facility. The overall design and finish show the thought and care that have gone into ensuring that their staff and visitors have a welcoming, relaxed and homely hub to eat and meet in during the working day.

“We look forward to working closely with our new client to support their vision and to ensure that our catering service enhances the working day for all on site.”

The new contract started on 22 July when a team of six Wilson Vale staff catered for 250 IM Group staff at the new corporate headquarters in Solihull. The IM Group companies based at Solihull include IM properties, Spitfire Bespoke Homes and Subaru UK.

Andrew Edmiston, managing director of IM Group, added: “From the outset, we knew that we wanted a catering provider at the top of their game, producing excellent food and great hospitality.

“The Wilson Vale team will become an integral part of our business and work with us to maintain and enhance our inclusive and positive culture both inside and outside of our Group.”
