Catering equipment distributors announce award winners

Abstract
The Catering Equipment Distributors’ Association (CEDA) has announced the winners of its 2012 Grand Prix Awards at a glittering ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.
Court Catering Equipment Ltd won in the Cost Sector Large Project category for its work on Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts in London. For a Cost Sector Small Project, the winner was Port Catering Equipment for its work at Blackpool and The Fylde College. And the Outstanding Customer Service Award went to GS Catering Equipment for its work with Plymouth City Council Schools. Meanwhile, Vision Commercial Kitchens won the award for Profit Sector Large Project for the relocation of the Pizzeria in Harrods, while Carford Group won the Profit Sector Small Project for the Grove Hotel in Bournemouth. The Grand Prix Awards main sponsor was Dewberry Redpoint Publishing, which produces both Cost Sector Catering and Eat Out magazines. The Grand Prix Awards sponsor for the Small Project Category was Bibby Leasing. Judging was led by Bev Puxley, former head of the School of Hospitality at Westminster College, and Peter Wintle, who recently retired as executive chef at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham.
