The Legacy Honours were first introduced at the 2019 Ceda Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, held in April. The first three recipients were Jeff Whitaker founder of Whitco Catering & Bakery Equipment Ltd, Ian Bass financial director of Gratte Brothers Catering Equipment Ltd and Andrew Humble director of Humble Arnold Associates.
The honour is presented to ‘exceptional individuals’ who have enriched lives, served with dedication and played an active role in establishing a tangible legacy to the industry.
All Ceda members and partners have been sent an application form where they can nominate individuals for consideration. The deadline for nominations is 31 January 2020.
An announcement will be made in the New Year regarding a legacy Lunch, at which recipients will also be honoured.
