Since the start of the Ukraine conflict, Thomas Franks has donated over 100 tonnes of essential food and supplies. The contract caterer provided tinned products such as tuna, long-life milk and bottled drinking water.
A spokesperson for Thomas Franks, said: “This latest trip is another step towards providing aid in the region and contributing food and expertise with our partner, Hook Norton Brewery. We have previously supported them with their trips to Ukraine by raising funds and donating supplies. But, on this occasion, Dean Collins and Ged Burden were able to get involved personally.
“Leaving the six vans behind and returning to the UK by plane was a vital part of the plan: these vans will be essential to the humanitarian response in the area. We want to extend huge thanks to our supplier, @savonafoods for their support in donating supplies that have gone directly to helping those in need in Ukraine.”
