TUCO says the programme will have two sections, an online hub and cooking masterclasses for students. The online hub will provide TUCO members with ready-made content that can be shared through student channels such as social media, student newsletters, digital screens and campus websites.
The content will highlight the skills and expertise of chefs, caterers and suppliers across the TUCO network, while supporting the promotion of healthy, affordable and sustainable eating for students.
TUCO members will also have the option to host student cooking masterclasses on campus, delivered in partnership with The Academy by Lifetime. These interactive sessions will consist of themed cook-along classes to provide students with the hands-on skills of cooking, delivered by professional chefs.
Campus Life and TUCO will be holding a meeting on 23rd April so members can learn more about the Student Cooking with TUCO project in more detail and find out how they and their students can benefit from this new resource.
