The CUBO Awards were postponed due to Covid-19 and will now be presented at the virtual awards events on 3 December 2020 as part of the CUBO Winter Festival.
The ‘Innovation in Catering’ shortlisted finalists include Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Reading and University of Stirling Venues.
Kirsty Woodward, CUBO awards chair and director of campus services at the University of Leicester, said: “In what has been such a difficult year, we feel is it vitally important to recognise and reward excellence within our sector. Never have campus services teams worked so hard.
“Our virtual awards ceremony will be chance to join together to celebrate not only the finalists and winners, but also the determination and resilience of everyone across the sector.”
The 2019 CUBO ‘Innovation in Catering’ award was won by Manchester Metropolitan University.
There are eight other categories at the CUBO 2020 Awards, including ‘Best Marketing Campaign’, ‘Business Team of the Year’ and ‘Business Partner of the year’.
