Contract caterer Elior celebrates Internal Recognition Award winners
Abstract
Contract caterer Elior is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its annual Awards for Excellence, a tradition that has recognised the hard work, dedication and innovation of colleagues across all its sites for two decades.

This year’s awards ceremony, hosted by Sue Perkins, was held at Kelham Hall in Newark on 27th March 2025. It was attended by over 250 colleagues, supply partners and clients joining to celebrate Elior’s highest performing colleagues and sites.

The awards programme serves as a cornerstone of the company’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and acknowledging the efforts of its workforce.

Catherine Roe, chief executive of Elior UK, said: “Our employees are critical to our success, and for 20 years these awards have been a testament to their dedication and achievements. It’s an honour to celebrate all our colleagues who go above and beyond, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.”

Andrew Watts was named as the winner of the You made a Difference Award – the only accolade voted for by colleagues. Watts, who works at an Anchor Homes site, was recognised as a ‘catalyst for positive change’ who had introduced a number of engaging initiatives to enhance the lives of the residents.

Lisa Tomkins, who works at a National Physical Laboratory site, received the CSR & Social Value award for her commitment to achieving a reduction in environmental impact and helping to make Elior a more sustainable business.

Colleagues from Elior UK, Taylor Shaw, Caterplus, Lexington and Edwards & Blake were nominated by fellow colleagues for the following awards:

  • Safety Excellence
  • Chief Executive’s Special Recognition
