FMC wins five year contract

The contract which is worth £20 million will operate the conference, banqueting, exhibition and catering facilities for the new season, which starts this weekend. Chris Morris, managing director of sport at Compass Group, commented: "Leicester City FC is a welcome addition to our portfolio of football stadiums. On match days, the FMc catering team will run the 1884 Sports Bar, Fusions Restaurant and the 44 executive suites around the stadium. On non-event days, the sales team will manage the stadium with conference, banqueting and event business. The facilities comprise 10 function suites, two ground floor exhibition halls and 44 small meeting rooms; available for all types of events, ranging from conferences and meetings to product launches, parties, lunches and dinners for between 10 and 550 guests.
