Foodservice wholesaler Kff appoints new managing director
Abstract
Kent-based foodservice wholesaler Kff has announced the appointment of Mark Taylor as its new managing director.

Kff, a subsidiary of the world’s foodservice supplier Sysco, specialises in providing a wide range of high-quality food to local pubs, restaurants, schools and other venues serving food. It has a particular emphasis on suppling local produce from food companies across Kent and the South-East.

Mark joins kff having spent ten years working in various roles across Sysco’s British businesses, seven of which were spent at sister company Brakes. He has extensive experience in operational roles, which will help to build on Kff’s long-standing reputation for delivering service excellence.

Commenting on his new role, Mark said: “I am very excited by the opportunity at Kff. The business has an enviable reputation for customer service and product quality. With a talented team already in place, we have great plans to grow our customer base and continue to develop sales of our fantastic range of locally sourced products.”

As well as a comprehensive frozen and ambient product range Kff now also supplies fruit, vegetables, and meat, as well as fresh and frozen fish.

Kff believes that buying British provides environmental and social benefits such as reducing food miles and supporting UK farmers and dairies, whilst satisfying the growing consumer demand for fresh produce, provenance and traceability.

Mark replaces Phillip White who is leaving the company to take up a role as chief executive of Scottish whisky business Gordon & MacPhail.
