HCA chair Iain Robertson offers preview of Leadership & Development Forum
Abstract
Iain Robertson, chair of the Hospital Caterers Association (HCA), has previewed the upcoming Leadership & Development Forum, which is taking place on 14-15th April at the DoubleTree Brighton Metropole.

The HCA Forum is the UK’s only national event dedicated to the production, delivery, and service of nutritious food for patients, staff, and visitors in the NHS.

The event will be hosted by TV presenter and food expert Chris Bavin. Other HCA Forum speakers include Tanya & Nadim Ednan-Laperouse, Ian Stone, Anita Brown and Aaron Phipps.

Robertson said: “Brighton is a fantastic location, and the Forum programme is shaping up to be one of our strongest yet. Across two days we’ll bring together an excellent range of speakers and opportunities to step back, reflect, and learn from one another.

“Alongside speakers we’ll have live elements across the programme, including demonstrations from Chris Bavin, the TV presenter and fresh produce importer, known for Britain’s Best Home Cook, Eat Well for Less?, Britain in Bloom, Food: Truth or Scare, and Tomorrow’s Food.

“I’m also please to confirm that the Burlodge International Exchange Programme winner on day one of the Forum. Just as importantly, the Forum is about celebrating what we do well. Our HCA awards will, once again, recognise the commitment, talent, and teamwork that exists right across our sector.”

The HCA Forum will showcase products, services, and solutions from suppliers, giving delegates the chance to explore the latest innovations in hospital catering. The event will provide practical insights, equipping attendees with actionable strategies and the confidence to innovate within their organisations.
