Drawn from individuals in a variety of roles from across the hospitality sector, these ‘inspiring leaders’ join more than 150 existing ambassadors in championing Hospitality Action’s mission to provide life-changing support to hospitality professionals and their families.
Through supporting fundraising initiatives, promoting wellbeing and mental health awareness, and engaging with the wider industry, ambassadors play a crucial role in helping them reach those who need support most.
Hospitality Action (HA) has been supporting the UK hospitality industry since 1837. Over the past 180 years, they’ve helped hundreds of thousands of hospitality people who’ve found themselves in difficulty or crisis.
A selection of the new ambassadors include Steven Lamb, commercial course manager at Compass Group; Nicola MacDonald, PR director at Montgomery Events and John Nugent, owner of Green & Fortune.
Mark Lewis, chief executive of Hospitality Action, said: “Hospitality is built on people, and our ambassadors embody the very best of our industry.
The appointment of 24 new ambassadors this year will play a pivotal role in meeting the challenges our industry faces, helping to raise awareness, champion fundraising initiatives, and ensure that more hospitality people and their families know that support is available when they need it most.”
