Abstract
The annual Hospitality Action (HA) Spring Online Auction will kick start HA Week when it opens for bidding at 10am on Monday, May, 14th to raise money for the industry charity.
The auction is now in its ninth year and offers something for everyone, giving you the chance to get your hands on some very special prizes. The funds raised via the auction of these luxurious donated goods and top-class hotel stays will go to support the work of HA, the hospitality industry's benevolent organisation, by helping those in the industry who are most in need. The charity is indebted to its supporters who have generously donated towards the auction. The one-of-a-kind prizes available include: * A three-course meal for four people, prepared in your own home by Allan Pickett, Head Chef of Plateau * An overnight stay for two at the five star Pennyhill Park and Spa, Surrey, including an award-winning afternoon tea * A tasting menu for two at the Michelin star Sienna Restaurant, Dorset With such great prizes on offer, bidding is sure to be fierce, so make sure you get your offers in early – the auction will close at 2pm on Friday, May 18th. All bidding will be carried out online and taking part couldn't be easier. Over the past nine years Hospitality Action's online auctions have raised more than £50,000. Last Christmas the auction raised £3,500 and hopes are high that a new record figure will be reached this spring.
