Institute of Hospitality secures 3-year Savoy Educational Trust funding
Abstract
The Institute of Hospitality (IoH) has secured two three-year funding agreements from the Savoy Educational Trust to grow its Passion4Hospitality (P4H) Future Leaders and Thriving in the North conferences.

This investment ensures both events remain free to attend until 2028, supporting thousands of students and early-career professionals across the UK.

Now entering its 14th year, the P4H Future Leaders Conference is designed for students, apprentices and graduates. It connects attendees with national employers, industry leaders, educators and sector experts through career exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, CV clinics, mentoring sessions, competitions and live recruitment opportunities.

Building on two successful years, the IoH’s Thriving in the North conference has also secured long-term funding, ensuring its future while keeping wellbeing and inclusivity at its core. It aims to strengthen recruitment pipelines and showcasing hospitality as a rewarding long-term career.

Robert Richardson FIH MI, chief executive of the Institute of Hospitality, said: “The Savoy Educational Trust’s funding will enable us to deliver and empower students with the vital skills and confidence to build successful hospitality careers. This generous three-year support allows us to continue reaching young people who may otherwise never access such opportunities.

“Both the P4H Future Leaders Conference and Thriving in the North are more than events; they are turning points in many young people’s hospitality careers, helping individuals gain the confidence, connections and insight they need to build fulfilling careers while supporting employers in strengthening their future talent pipelines and enhancing professional career growth across our industry.”
