Abstract
Anita Brown, chair of LACA the school food people, will give evidence at the Food, Diet and Obesity Committee during a meeting at the House of Lords today (7th March).

The event will discuss the key barriers to healthy eating for infants, children and young people. Anita will be highlighting the important role that nutritious school food plays in the health of young people.

Anita will be joined by co-founder at TastEd Bee Wilson, chief executive of Chefs in Schools Naomi Duncan and programme lead for School Food Matters Georgie Branch.

An earlier meeting will involve director at First Steps Nutrition Trust Dr Vicky Sibson, chair at Food Special Interest Group Kristin Bash and Professor of Maternal & Fetal Health at Kings College London Lucilla Poston CBE.
