Abstract
German company LSG Sky Chefs has extended and expanded its business with Air New Zealand.

The company has existing contracts with London-Heathrow and has a longstanding partnership with the national carrier of New Zealand in Auckland, where the company has also opened a brand new facility.

Christopher Luxon, CEO of Air New Zealand, said: “LSG Sky Chefs has grown with Air New Zealand to become our preferred catering partner serving us at the majority of our long-haul destinations around the globe.”

LSG Sky Chefs delivers 578 million meals a year, primarily for more than 300 airlines at 214 airports in 51 countries.

In 2012, Alpha Flight Group and LSG Sky Chefs created Alpha LSG Ltd as a UK only joint venture.

The business has combined revenues of more than £300 million and employs around 3,600 people providing catering, retail and logistics services from facilities located at 17 airports throughout the UK, including London Gatwick and Manchester.
