Abstract
Charlton House has gained a contract with the international law firm Mayer Brown.
Under a three-year deal the independent caterer will manage hospitality services at Mayer Brown's existing offices in Pilgrim Street, London until February 2009 when the firm is due to move to a brand new building in the Broadgate development at 201 Bishopsgate, London. The services will then include a staff restaurant for 750 Mayer Brown partners and staff, a coffee bar, a retail shop, vending and hospitality services including bespoke dining. Liz Cummins, Charlton House business development manager, said: "Mayer Brown's investment in new catering and corporate entertainment facilities reflects the firm's commitment to its clients and staff. It was important for our new client to have absolute confidence in a caterer who could perform consistently and to a high quality. The bespoke dining aspect is a particularly exciting part of the contract." Charlton House has a current annual turnover of £80 million and employs almost 2,000 people nationwide.
