Menu cards developed for kids to use post-education

2nd Nov 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Catering company Cucina has developed a series of menu cards to help students cook healthy, wholesome and appetising meals after they leave school.
Cucina serves food to more than 25,000 pupils at 30 contracts up and down the country. Food experts there have developed more than 20 Top Trump recipe cards for school leavers, who are now enjoying the benefits of cooking. Recipes include a breakfast salad with baked bean dressing for starter, roast pork ravioli dinner for main and chocolate and beetroot brownie with yoghurt ice cream for dessert. The portions which are recommended on the Top Banana Trumps serve at least four people and there are no more than 10 steps to make recipes quick and simple. School leavers will be presented with Cucina's Top Trump cards, which are designed to be swapped and shared with friends.
