Abstract
Monika, the wireless food safety company, has announced a strategic restructure of the UK business in 2017 amid wider plans for continued growth in regions around the world.

The restructure will involve changes to the way the company is governed and run on a day-to-day basis.

Monika’s UK operations have now been restructured to focus on sales and customer service and the change will see Simon Frost, UK managing director, leave the business, following two years at the helm.

Tim Gamble, founder and executive chairman, said: “In an effort to sustain the significant growth that we have experienced over the past two years across the Monika business globally, we are implementing an internal business restructure.

“Regrettably, the role of UK Managing Director is not appropriate to this new structure and therefore we can confirm that Simon Frost is no longer with the business. We would like to thank Simon for his significant contribution to the ongoing success of the business and wish him all the very best as he takes on new opportunities.”

Rag Hulait, who has been promoted to UK director of sales, will drive Monika’s UK sales. Hulait has been with the company for 20 years and Mark Millership has been appointed group finance director.

Following the restructure, Tim Gamble will continue to oversee the business.

Gamble added: “2017 is set to be an exciting year for Monika, as we look to further develop our systems and services, continuing to deliver the exceptional support and knowledge of wireless temperature monitoring and total food safety solutions demanded by our customers around the world.”
