Contract and event caterer Kudos has launched an initiative that rewards staff with days off work.
Andy Wood, head chef at Penshurt Place and Gardens in Kent, is Kudos’ first employee of the month and wins two days extra holiday plus a £50 gift voucher. The eventual employee of the year will win an extra five days holiday.
Peter Bruun, senior partner of Kudos, said: “The decision to change our reward system was made following our ongoing conversations and consultations with our colleagues in venues across the country, which made it very clear that this would be an ideal way by which we can make a positive difference to their work-life balance.”
Kudos hires over 400 staff and has taken this step as part its commitment to support a healthy work-life balance for employees.
