Chefs will put several Alto-Shaam appliances through their paces, cooking up a series of dishes for attendees to try from 10am until 12pm. For caterers who can’t make the morning session, there will be a second demonstration in the afternoon, from 1pm to 3pm, that will be streamed live to the Nisbets store on Shaftesbury Avenue.
Alongside the Converge, chefs will also demonstrate the benefits and features of the Vector Multi-Cook Oven and Alto-Shaam’s Cook and Hold Ovens and Holding Drawers. Demonstrations will be led by FEM's training & development chef Nathan Osbourne and Billy Eatenton, regional manager for the UK at Alto-Shaam.
Mark Hogan, commercial director at FEM which is the UK distributor for Alto-Shaam, said: “We hope that offering both the Bristol and London events on the same day will encourage as many caterers to attend as possible.
“Those coming to the afternoon session will still be able to talk to the chefs and get their input, just as if they were face to face. In addition, the appliances being demonstrated will be on show in the London venue, so they can still get the hands-on experience.”
