Abstract
Global cranberry supplier, Ocean Spray Ingredient Technology Group, is welcoming manufacturers, distributors and others to its headquarters via an online virtual event.
On 29 September 2009, the first Cranberry World Summit will give food industry members from around the world the opportunity to chat with Ocean Spray representatives, browse and download information, network with other attendees and hear independent experts' views. Speakers include Lee Linthicum, head of food research at Euromonitor International and professor Jeffrey Blumberg, PhD, senior scientist and director at the Antioxidant Research Laboratory, at Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts. Professor Blumberg will first outline the connection between diet and health and explain how the industry can translate scientific knowledge into general understanding.
