Grind has a menu of freshly prepared brunch favourites, small plates and pastries, creating an all-day dining destination for commuters, travellers and visitors alike. It will seat 35 people and will be located on the mezzanine level, overlooking the main concourse.
David Abrahamovitch, chief executive and founder of Grind: “Bringing Grind to one of the UK’s busiest stations marks a major milestone for us - we can’t wait to bring our craft coffee to thousands of commuters at Waterloo.
“We’re offering travellers a completely new experience: a place where they can grab a great coffee on the go, sit down for brunch, or unwind with cocktails after a long day. It’s our first in a station, and we’re thrilled to make it happen with One Retail.”
London Waterloo was the first station in the Network Rail estate to achieve sales exceeding £100m achieving £107.4m during the 2024/25 financial year.
Andy Jones, managing director at One Retail, added: “Working with Grind is a really exciting move for us. The brand offers true quality and a distinct service, which is totally different to anything currently in Waterloo. This will be the perfect place for commuters to meet friends, work or relax. I’m looking forward to our continued partnership.”
