Paulig PRO launches Indian style street food recipe brochure
Abstract
As the demand for contemporary Indian food soars Paulig PRO, the company behind the Santa Maria brand, has launched a new Indian style street food recipe brochure.

Designed to help mainstream operators tap into this growing trend, the brochure provides inspiration and practical solutions to bring modern Indian dishes to menus and capitalise on the £2bn market opportunity.

Contemporary Indian food has established itself as a mainstream offering in the UK, gaining more popularity than other global cuisines such as Mexican, Thai and Greek. This new wave fuses traditional Indian flavours with modern out of home (OOH) eating habits influenced by the ‘street food’ revolution and ‘global fusion’ trend.

The brochure features 14 street food-inspired dishes from the handheld Tandoori Chicken Cha-Kati Roll and Garam Masala Bangin’ Cauliflower Bowl, to the Masala Loaded Fries and the decadent Masala Fried Chicken Burger.

Paulig PRO’s new contemporary Indian concept is designed for OOH operators – including casual dining, quick service restaurants, pubs & bars and on-the-go outlets – as well as contract caterers in education and workplace sectors.

Barnaby MacAdam, development chef at Santa Maria Foodservice (Paulig PRO), said: “Contemporary Indian cuisine is booming here in the UK, and we’re excited to help operators bring it to life on their menus. This new wave of Indian street food is all about bold, vibrant flavours delivered in modern, accessible formats – and that’s exactly what our new recipe collection offers.

“Whether it’s handheld rolls, loaded fries or flavour-packed bowls, our new dishes are designed to fit seamlessly into today’s eating out habits while offering the authenticity and quality that keeps customers coming back for more.”
