ProVeg starts ‘Cooking with Plants’ workshops for secondary school pupils
Abstract
ProVeg has announced that it has started its ‘Cooking with Plants’ workshops which are specially designed for secondary school students.

These workshops, along with learning vital cooking skills, allow children to connect with what’s on their plate, get creative and discover how to ‘transform’ simple plant-based ingredients into diverse, globally-inspired meals.

ProVeg says the workshops will empower children with the tools they need to make nutritious meals packed with plants, with ease and confidence.

A spokesperson for ProVeg said: “We believe that ‘Cooking With Plants’ will inspire the next generation of cooks to view plant-based ingredients as an opportunity for endless culinary creativity.”

The four recipes include:

  • Deliciously simple curries
  • Bolognaise six ways
  • Tasty burger innovation
  • Chickpeas transformed (sweet treats)
