Public Sector Catering extends entry deadline for Awards
Abstract
Following a number of requests Public Sector Catering has extended the entry deadline for their Awards giving individuals, teams and organisations more time to finalise their entries. The new entry deadline is Wednesday 14th February 2024.

Organisations that have already submitted entries can use the extra time to consider any additional categories they might want to enter. There is no limitation regarding the number of award categories each organisation can put themselves forward for.

There are 16 categories available for nomination; exceptions being the Armed Forces Caterer of the Year Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. The winners will be crowned on Thursday, 4th April at the Hilton London Metropole.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to the individual or organisation who, during a notable career in the industry, has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, drive, ideas and influence that makes them a worthy winner of the highest accolade the industry can bestow.

Matthew White, chair of the Public Sector Catering Alliance, said: “Nominate your teams, staff or peers for one of these prestigious awards. Winning a Public Sector Catering Award not only recognises individuals and teams but also helps highlight the importance and in some cases life changing services that you provide.

“These awards promote the amazing work that takes place each day, sustaining communities in the face of adversity. There are a huge array of categories to nominate too, so I urge you to take a look at the website and enter your heroes. So be proud and celebrate all that is good about the products and services colleagues provide.”

Please ensure you have read the entry criteria thoroughly and answered the questions related to the award you’d like to enter, within the 500 - 1,000 word limit. It is this document that will convince the judges of their worthiness to win the award. You can also include supporting material such as testimonials, menus, CVs and photos.

The categories open for nomination include:

  • Care Catering Award
  • Catering College Award
  • Catering Manager of the Year Award
  • Chef of the Year Award
