Abstract
By joining the United Nations Global Compact, Rational is underlining its commitment to responsible business practices.
As a global market leader in thermal food preparation, Rational is taking this voluntary step to further embed key principles relating to human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption into its business practices.
By joining, Rational recognises the ten principles of the UN Global Compact as a binding framework for responsible corporate governance. These cover human rights, labour standards, the environment, and anti-corruption.
Dr Peter Stadelmann, chief executive of Rational, said: “We are aware that sustainability is an ongoing process. Joining the UN Global Compact is the next logical step for us in further developing our activities in a targeted manner."
