Abstract
The Rugby Legends Dinner will be held at the Deer Park Country House in 2020 to raise money for charity Hospitality Action.

Former England rugby player David ‘Flats’ Flatman will entertain attendees at the charity dinner on 27 April 2020. The evening will also include a drinks reception and four-course meal prepared by four chefs.

Chris Eden from Gridleigh Park will prepare the starter and his menus support local Devonshire farmers and producers.

Guy Owen from St. Enodoc Hotel will make the fish course. Likewise Owen focuses on creating ‘inspiring dishes’ using sustainable and locally grown ingredients.

Paul Ainsworth from Paul Ainsworth at No.6, who appeared on BBC2’s Great British Menu in 2011, will create the main course. He has held a Michelin star since 2013 and in September 2016 he was awarded a fourth rosette by the AA.

Michael Caines MBE from Lympstone Manor is ‘one of the UK’s most renowned chefs’ and he will prepare the dessert. He has held two Michelin stars for 18 consecutive years and he is known for using local ingredients.

The aim of the Rugby Legends Dinner is to raise money for Hospitality Action. The charity acts as a ‘safety net’ to help people in the hospitality industry who are struggling.
