Only 4% of the more than 22,000 companies assessed in 2025 received this top score. Sodexo is the only company in its sector to achieve this distinction.
The score reflects both the ambition of Sodexo’s climate strategy, aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to achieve Net Zero by 2040, and the rigour, transparency and execution of its environmental disclosures.
Mouna Fassi Daoudi, Sodexo group chief sustainability officer, said: “We are proud to see Sodexo included once again in the CDP ‘A’ List, recognising our teams’ efforts to embed our climate commitments into daily operations in collaboration with our clients.
“It reinforces our conviction that sustainability serves business performance, as well as positively impacting people and planet. Our focus remains on tangible impact and measurable progress as we support the transition to a more sustainable food system.”
This recognition comes as Sodexo closes its ‘trailblazing’ global sustainability roadmap - Better Tomorrow 2025. The roadmap highlights three key areas:
- People: With 426,000 employees worldwide, Sodexo places health, safety, well-being and skills development at the heart of its positive social impact.
- Clients: Sodexo strengthens its role as a trusted partner, supporting clients in achieving their sustainability ambitions while enhancing performance.
- Planet & Society: Sodexo continues its journey toward Net Zero Carbon by 2040 while strengthening its social impact, notably through its Stop Hunger initiative to fight hunger and food insecurity worldwide.
