Sodexo secures new catering contract with Cheshire girls school

Sodexo, a leading provider of on-site service solutions, has signed a new contract with Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Cheshire worth more than £3.5m in total turnover.
Sodexo will provide catering services at the school as well as cleaning which it has been already providing for four years. The seven year contract, which has the option to extend for a further three years, will commence on 1 September. Sodexo will employ a further 14 members of staff to provide the new catering service at the UK's largest girls' grammar school. Jon Poole, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls business and finance manager, said: "Throughout the tender process we have been thoroughly impressed by Sodexo at all levels. The degree of professionalism has been superb and all of the school's requirements have been taken on board and catered for. "Sodexo already manages the cleaning service at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls and we trust that the catering service will build on the high standards already set." Dinah Davies, Sodexo Education divisional director, added: "We are delighted to have added catering as an additional service at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls. I believe it was our ability to prove we are innovative and able to deliver a quality service through our cleaning contract that really helped us to expand our partnership with the school. "We have built a strong relationship with our client and proven that they can rely on us to provide high standards of service. I hope that our ongoing partnership will lead to us growing our business even further with the school."
