Spirit of Sodexo Awards celebrates dedication of employees

Global services company, Sodexo has recognised the ‘commitment and dedication’ of its employees at its Spirit of Sodexo Awards.

The Spirit of Sodexo Awards evening, attended by 600 Sodexo employees, saw 21 individuals and teams win accolades. 

Operations manager Nicola Newman from Sodexo’s Northumbria University contract won the Employee of the Year award. The judges were impressed with her ‘genuine care’ for students during her 20-year career. 

The Army Basing Programme mobilisation team won Team of the Year for their work ensuring military families returning from overseas were given job opportunities and 'top class facilities'.  

Sean Haley, regional chairman of Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: “I am extremely proud of each and every one of our winners, and very thankful for what they bring to this great company. 

“The Spirit of Sodexo Awards recognise and reward colleagues who best embody the values and behaviours of our company, and our winners truly do this.
