Abstract
As part of Springboard FutureChef’s 25th anniversary, the Alumni Awards have been launched with three categories available to enter.
Springboard FutureChef is a free programme that aims to ‘inspire’ the UK’s 11-16-year-olds to cook, understand food nutrition and spark their interest in a career within the hospitality industry.
Brain Turner CBE, FutureChef patron and champion, said: “FutureChef is all about encouraging young people to consider a career in cooking, we can all help.”
The Alumni Awards have been introduced to celebrate and recognise previous competitors that have taken part in Springboard FutureChef over the past 25 years. There are three categories to enter:
- Outstanding Achievement Award: This award identifies alumni who have achieved exceptional success and recognition in their chosen culinary or hospitality-related field.
- Services to Springboard FutureChef: This award recognises alumni who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and support to the Springboard FutureChef programme.
- Future Talent: This award recognises recent alumni who show immense promise and potential in the culinary or hospitality industry.
