Abstract
UK tea brand, Tetley, has released what intends on being the go-to guide on hydration for care homes.

The ‘Hydration Handbook’ offers insight and advice on keeping care home residents hydrated in all environments.

Aspects covered in the guide includes advice on how to spot the signs of insufficient hydration, and ideas for recipes and activities.

Marshall Kingston, senior brand manager - Out of Home, Tetley said: “We are delighted to be able to share our 180 years of expertise with care home catering and care teams via our handbook.

“Tetley is dedicated to providing education to help highlight the significance of tea in care surroundings and the importance of tea in maintaining sufficient nutrition and hydration in not only residents, but staff and visitors too.”

The Tetley Hydration Handbook was launched at the NACC Training and Development Forum on the 4–6 November where the company also revealed its new tea cart- a transportable tea serving station.

The handbook is available to download here.
