Martin succeeds Carolyn Bradley, who has served as interim chair since the AGM on 23rd January 2026. She will remain on the board as senior independent director.
He has extensive experience across the global consumer, travel, hospitality and support services sectors. Martin is currently chair of Intertek Group plc, a FTSE 100 company, and is stepping down at the end of May 2026 after more than five years in his current role and ten years in total as a non-executive director.
Previously Martin held board-level executive roles at Compass Group plc from 2004 to 2015, including group chief operating officer for Europe and Japan as well as group finance director.
