Unox named as founding & main sponsor of 6 Nations Plus Challenge
Abstract
The 6 Nations Plus Challenge, which is sponsored by Unox, brings together leaders from across the commercial catering equipment and foodservice sectors to raise donations for Maggie’s Centres.

The 6 Nations Plus Association, founded by James Connolly from Celltherm Coldrooms, Greg Archer MBE from Contiquip and Duncan Hepburn from Hepburn Design, will host the one-day endurance event on 5th June 2026.

This initiative will be to raise a minimum of £25,000 for Maggie's Centres, the charity providing free practical and emotional support for people affected by cancer. The Challenge will bring together more than 50 participants from across the industry in a demonstration of sector-wide collaboration and purpose.

Unox will field two teams in the Challenge, reinforcing its commitment to leading from the front and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with industry colleagues in support of a shared cause. Participants will complete three stages: The Kelpies Climb, Loch Lomond Canoe Crossing and The Cobbler Ascent during the challenge.

Unox says it has built on a strong ethos of community and togetherness, and is no stranger to rising to a challenge, having previously carried one of their CHEFTOP-X combi ovens up Ben Nevis raising funds for The Burnt Chef Project.

Steven McGarvie, managing director of Unox UK Ltd, said: “We are proud to support, and take part in, an initiative that reflects the collaboration, leadership and resilience within the commercial catering equipment sector. The 6 Nations Plus Challenge demonstrates how our industry can come together to make a genuine difference beyond day-to-day business.”
