Abstract
West Middlesex University Hospital, part of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has renewed their contract with ISS Healthcare worth more than £40 million over a five-year period.

The contract began on 1 July 2019 and will see ISS provide a range of facility management services including healthcare cleaning, patient caring, non-emergency patient transport, pest control and waste management.

Chris Ash, managing director of ISS Healthcare, said: “We are very pleased to extend our partnership with West Middlesex University Hospital, and indeed the whole Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

“This hospital is a very important customer to ISS Healthcare and we are looking forward to bringing further innovation to our services and developing our value propositions to build upon the excellent quality of services delivered in the previous contract.”

ISS will invest in ‘innovation and technology’ to support service delivery across the site. ISS Healthcare also provides facility management services to the Trust’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital site.

Gary dockrell, assistant general manager at ByWest Limited, added: “ByWest, as the Trust’s PFI partner, is delighted that ISS have been successful in being awarded a further five-year contract to deliver the soft FM services at West Middlesex University Hospital.

“This award is testament to the high standards, professional approach and commitment demonstrated by ISS over the previous five years. We look forward to continuing our relationship with ISS, as our service provider partner.”
