White Oaks launches specialist catering procurement service
Abstract
White Oaks, the senior living division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has launched its specialist procurement service, Catering Procurement Plus.

Catering Procurement Plus brings together industry knowledge, robust infrastructure and a specialist understanding of the needs of catering teams and residents within senior living environments. It is a simpler way for providers to manage food service procurement and support their in-house catering team.

By combining expert support, powerful digital tools and a trusted supplier network, Catering Procurement Plus makes catering more sustainable and cost-efficient, helping teams deliver varied, nutritious meals that promote wellbeing and connection.

To deliver this, White Oaks is working in partnership with EF-group. The service comprises three core features:

  • Digital technology: a food service procurement platform, which automates and streamlines menu planning, ordering, stock control and dietary management, with instant access to nutritional and allergen data.
  • Quality ingredients: a trusted network of local, regional and national suppliers, giving access to responsibly sourced, high-quality ingredients at a competitive rate through collective buying power.
  • Industry expert support: White Oaks chefs, dietitians and operational managers work alongside the catering team to support menu planning, cost management and nutritional compliance.

Laura Tighe, business director at White Oaks, said: “Catering Procurement Plus brings real added value to our clients by giving their teams the support and confidence to deliver enjoyable, nourishing meals without compromising on quality, compliance or cost control.

“This is a great way for organisations to leverage the expertise of our people - empowering teams to focus on what matters most - delivering exceptional meals and meaningful mealtime experiences.”
