Aimia brings Horlicks Malted Porridge to OOH breakfast menus

Following the success of their retail launch, Aimia Foods for Professionals has announced that they are bringing Horlicks Malted Porridge to the out of home (OOH) market.

Aimia says the launch marks a ‘significant milestone for the nation’s favourite brand of malt’ as it enters a brand-new category. The company also says it sets customers up for a full on day thanks to the slow release of energy from oats – it’s high in fibre too.

To make one serving of Horlicks Malted Porridge, mix 50g of porridge clusters with 240ml of cold milk in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and stir until the clusters have broken down and the desired consistency is reached.

Aimia says it is a ‘must-stock’ for foodservice environments that are looking to add an on-trend, balanced breakfast option to their morning menu. Horlicks Malted Porridge is currently available in a 400g box.

Rebekha White, brand manager of Horlicks, said: “Horlicks has helped bring comfort and enjoyment to the nation for generations. Our consumer research told us that Horlicks’ fans would love to see more malt on menus - especially when it comes to breakfast, hence why we are so excited to be launching Horlicks Malted Porridge.”
