The new premium cookies contain 50% more chocolate than the cookies in Country Choice’s core ready to bake range and, at 80g they are also 60% heavier.
There are two core flavours in the range, a Belgian Milk Chocolate Cookie and a Triple Belgian Chocolate Cookie. Country Choice suggests making these two options available all-year round, but it is also offering a limited-edition, White Chocolate & Lemon Cookie option for Spring/Summer.
A spokesperson for Country Choice said: “This seasonal option is perfect for bringing a sense of occasion and variety to a convenience retailer’s bakery fixture, whilst keeping the range fresh and appealing.
“Each cookie features rich Belgian chocolate inclusions for a luxurious taste that is in keeping with other premium ranges available in the convenience retail sector. Retailers can package the cookies as single units in film-fronted bags or offer them in multipacks of two or three.”
Supplied in cases of 30 the cookies have a shelf-life of three days when wrapped, two days when unwrapped, and carry the following RRPs: £1.75 for one, £3.00 for two and £4.50 for three. For more information visit www.countrychoice.co.uk.
